Major Usability Improvement – Item Level Selection

We've just rolled out a highly requested usability improvement that gives much easier and more precise control of your purchasing workflow.

Previously, when working in the Order Plan, you could only apply actions like reating purchase orders, exporting to Excel, recalculating forecasts, or adding items to a group to all items currently shown based on your filters.

But now, you can be far more precise.

Introducing Selectable Rows in the Order Plan

You can now individually select one, multiple, or all items directly within your Order Plan. This means you can take action on just the items you care about, without changing your filters, or exporting everything just to trim it down manually.

What Can You Do with This?

  • Create purchase orders for only the items you want to buy now
  • Export a subset of items to Excel for external analysis or team
    review
  • Recalculate specific items without touching the rest of your data.
  • Add selected items to a group for calculating combined forecasts or totals, or managing items within a product range
    together.

It’s a simple change that unlocks a lot more flexibility and control, especially for users managing large or complex product catalogs.

Streamlined Purchase Order Approvals and Sending

This flexibility extends beyond the Order Plan. When you're reviewing generated purchase orders, you can now select multiple at once to approve or send, making it much faster to handle bulk approvals or dispatches without needing to open and process each one individually.

A Small Change with a Big Impact

This update may seem simple, but it unlocks a lot of power. By allowing you to select exactly the items or purchase orders you want to work with, you’ll save time, reduce errors, and gain greater control over your planning and procurement process. It’s all part of our ongoing focus on making StockTrim faster, smarter, and easier to use, based on real feedback from users like you. As always, if there’s something that would make your workflow even smoother, we’d love to hear from you.
