We're seeking a skilled, remote Marketing Assistant for a flexible, part-time contract role with a New Zealand-based SaaS company (StockTrim). Role Overview
Join StockTrim, an AI-powered inventory forecasting platform for small to medium ecommerce businesses, as a part-time remote Marketing Assistant. This initial contract position offers flexibility (15-20 hours/week) and potential for ongoing work, focusing on amplifying our content marketing, digital campaigns, and CRM operations to drive customer acquisition and retention.

Key Responsibilities
Create engaging content for blogs, social media (LinkedIn, X), email newsletters, and landing pages, optimized for SaaS lead generation.
Design visually appealing graphics, infographics, and promotional materials using Canva, aligning with brand guidelines.
Manage HubSpot CRM: update contacts, segment lists, automate workflows, track campaign performance, and generate reports on metrics like MRR impact and lead conversion.
Support Google Ads and LinkedIn campaigns with copywriting, A/B testing, and performance analysis.
Collaborate on video content scripting/editing and PR outreach for industry conferences or webinars.
Assist with competitive research and content calendar planning to boost website CTR and nurture prospects.

Requirements
Proven experience with content marketing, Canva (advanced templates/animations), and HubSpot (workflows, reporting, integrations).
Strong writing skills for B2B SaaS audiences (ecommerce, inventory management focus a plus).
Familiarity with digital marketing tools (Google Analytics, LinkedIn Ads) and metrics like churn, NRR, or lead gen ROI.
Excellent time management for remote, flexible hours; NZ timezone preferred but not required.
Tech-savvy with SaaS tools and LLM's

Responsibilities

Responsibilities include participating in the entire software development  life cycle, debugging applications and configuring existing systems. You will be primarily responsible for working with the product owner and executing / building out our product roadmap.

This will be a leadership role, and you will be responsible for overseeing  and reviewing other team members’ (including remote contractors) work. 

You will also oversee our live app in the Azure production environment and respond to escalated technical support inquiries from our customer support team.

  • Analyze system requirements and prioritize tasks.
  • Write clean, testable code using .Net programming languages
  • Develop technical specifications and architecture
  • Test and Debug .Net applications
  • Review and refactor code – reduce technical debt
  • Deploy fully functional applications
  • Support other team members
  • Document development and operational procedures

Requirements for role

  • 5+ years’ experience as a software developer using the Microsoft  stack.
  • Expertise in Asp.Net MVC, C#, jQuery, or any modern js framework
  • Experience with SQL Server & relational databases
  • Familiarity with agile processes
  • Experience with Microsoft Azure
  • Experience managing a live production app, deployment, and  release management
  • University degree in Computer Science or Engineering, or other  relevant field
  • Ability to stay motivated in a remote working environment
  • Ability to learn and understand a lightly documented codebase
  • Ability to focus on the customer end result, understanding the business, and delivering pragmatic outcomes for our customers. 

Above all, a strong sense of intuition is needed – the ability to think  "outside the box” and come up with novel solutions to customer real  world scenarios.
